Dr. Mann replaced one hip in 2006 and the second in 2015. Both operations and recovery went without complications. I was 61 when I had the first hip replaced and I credit him with giving me back my mobile life.
Dr Mann was professional and had a good report with me. He knew what was wrong and took care of my discomfort and was straightforward with a future procedure I might need. I was open to questions and he provided the answers I needed. I trust his judgment and look forward to working with him in the future
Dr. Mann is disrespectful and is not a good surgeon. . He left me with life long pain.
He was a quiet professional doc. I am every surgeons nightmare as a nurse. I asked a million questions before and after. He kept me updated after surgery as I had a clot. He made the ER docs come over and speak in front of me with him. It was a very painful surgery but worth it. Dr Mann made sure was properly medicated. What I hated was the Mercy Trinity Hospital.. the ER and nurses working on the floor. I received no care and had to beg for medication. I actually felt unsafe in their ER very lacking in security. He was caring, professional and I had confidence in him immediately. He moved to VA. and I miss him. He Listened to my concerns and I feel wonderful! Thanks so much, Dr. Mann. If something happens to my other hip, I will want to come to Va.
Dr Mann did an anterior approach with my hip replacement. He never even mentioned the likelihood of compressed nerve damage from this technique. My hip got infected and the way he, his staff and the ED handled the situation was dangerous. I went through so much and now I live with relentless pain. I can't get my life back. He is callous and careless towards his patients.
I was very pleased with my experience with Dr. Mann. He was up front and explained everything I needed to do to prepare for surgery. The day of surgery, I was terrified! He and all the staff at Mercy were compassionate and professional. My recovery went well, thanks to the guidance of them all. I'm sad to hear he will be leaving and hope he gives me direction for when I'm due for my other hip replacement. I trust him and his expertise. Wishing him the best on his relocation. Thank you for everything you all did for me!
Dr. Mann was very professional, caring and kept us informed every step of the way. We knew what to expect after the surgery and his team got in touch with us several times to check on my progress. Dr. Mann did an excellent job with my hip replacement surgery and I would highly recommend him.
Wish i had never went to get a knee worked on
