I was a pain patient in SC moved back to PA this DR doesn't know medical marijuana is legal in PA? He had a attitude about it when I even mentioned it as a alternative!? When I said it's recreational and medical in some states he got nasty with me and said how can something be both? My answer was Alcohol is! It's sold in bars and used in medicine! Like Dr Lockhard. Have been referred to his PA. Have had some issues with my meds. Nurses are great.
I suffered pain from Heritary Peripheral Neuropathy for 20 years and took lots of oral pain medicine! Finding Dr Lockard and getting the pain pump has been awsome! He is so understanding and compassionate and his staff is just as great!! Specifically Jen, the first person I spoke to in the office! She couldnt have been more nice and made me feel important and validated me where so many others looked at me as just another addicted sole! I wasnt!
Probably the best doctor I have seen in the area .EVER. To start with, you can usually get an appointment easily if you really NEED it. His office staff is wonderful. He has a fantastic, personable, warm and friendly bedside manner. He sits down with you, makes actual eye contact with you and treats you like a PERSON and with RESPECT. Dr. Lockard is the best pain physician there is... He listens and works with his patients and is not condescending and does not treat his patients like drug seeking addicts. He is patient and kind and truly helps to find solutions to ease the life of people with chronic pain.
