Surgical Associates of Richmond gets 5 stars from me. Great client services, everyone cares about your health. The doctors are fantastic! When I had to have emergency surgery on my colon my gastroenterologist recommend one doctor and that was John Hyslop . He told me he was one of the finest skilled surgeon. I went to surgery and long story short is he saved my life. He is not only a skilled surgeon but a great passionate person.
Dr. Hyslop attention to detail is what saved my life. I went to the emergency room with stroke symptoms and during the testing, it was found I had a 90% blockage of my carotid artery. That was bad but the worst thing was I had a flap of plaque that was holding on by a string. His paying attention to that detail lead to surgery that really did save my life.
