Dr. Heffernan is an exceptional surgeon. who really did a fantastic job patching me up from a pretty severe bone injury. Dr Heffernan beyond being a skilled surgeon is also skilled in concisely explaining what to expect as well as steps for the best long term outcome and recovery. I would like to not have the experience of being injured and requiring medical care but having a active lifestyle with teenage boys, motorcycles and a plethora of outdoor activities the odds are higher to suffer an injury.
