When I first heard of Dr. Tamerin's work, I wasn't very excited. I just wanted to go see someone 2 or 3 times and then let them prescribe a medication, and then that was it. But Dr. Tamerin doesn't like the approach of giving medication. He was actually quite curious about how I was feeling. When I came home from college having been unable to complete my semester, my mom immediately took me to a psychiatrist the morning after my flight back and I do not think she could have chosen a better person for me to see. Dr. T is a miracle worker. Sessions with him are dynamic and engaged — he's the first psychiatrist I've ever had who references occurrences in his own life to help make a point, and he's incredibly action and outcome-oriented. I feel so lucky to have found him.
