Entered the emergency room at Beaumont Royal Oak with severe sepsis/ bacterial meningitis on March 16, 2020. John J Szela MD was one of the attending in a group of 14 Beaumont Physicians and orchestrated a five day attempt to keep me alive (in the middle of a pandemic). To John J Szela MD and the 13 Physicians, the nurses at Beaumont, THANK YOU FOR SAVING MY LIFE, without the quality healthcare I was given I would not be alive today.
Dr. Szela is a fantastic doctor, very caring and knowledgeable. He communicates well, answers questions clearly with solid examples. He is relaxed, with a sense of humor, yet makes sure you get the message and understand it. I would recommend him to anyone in need of services.
