I have had pain so bad for 4 months I can't bend over. This doctor said..I won't do an mri for surgery that can't be done before May. Take some ibuprofen. You might get use to the pain and decide you don't need surgery. He didnt believe I coukd not take ibuprofen until I showed him the stomach monitor I'm on. This guy doesn't care about your pain. He also knows nothing about cutting edge treatments using small incisions and glue/cement to fuse disc's when needed.
Worst Dr doesn't care about people's pain
If I could give 0 stars I really would. Early September of this year, I visited Dr. Steinmann in hopes to receive a microdiscectomy. As someone who was suffering from a lot of pain on my lower back and left leg, I was eager to speak to him. But to my disappointment, Dr. Steinmann seemed like he was in a rush as he was in the room for barely 5 minutes. He took a look at my MRI result and suggested I get a steroid shot. I kindly denied as steroid shots are only temporary solutions and I was looking for something more long term... read more
Dr. Steinmann was an awesome surgeon. I was very pleased with the surgery and would recommend him very highly. I was in very little pain after the surgery and now I am recovering slowly.
