I've been treated by Dr. Stamatos for over twenty years. A reputable surgeon recommended that I see Dr. Stamatos before turning to surgery. I've been getting periodic epidurals for many years and have been able to do everything from going on rollercoasters with my daughter to playing baseball and basketball with my son. Dr. Stamatos, in my opinion is the best.
Office help acts like a epidural factory. Dr not much different. Higher prices than any epidural anywhere else. And approach is outdated.
Dr. Stamatos is a great doctor who cured my sciatic pain. He takes the time to explain his diagnosis in layman's terms and inspires great confidence.
This Doctor isn't worth the breath on my lips to say his name. I went to his practice for 10-14 years, but had to change because my Physician asked me to go to the Pain Specialist associated with the hospital I always use. After a few years hiatus, I have to change because my Physician is retiring I wanted to go back to him to see if there was an interventional way of stopping the pain I am in, but he refused to take me back or speak with me. I was seeing Dr. Stamatos for epidural injections for back pain. I initially loved him, I thought he explained the procedure well and I trusted him explicitly. Unfortunately, Dr. Stamatos made a serious error in my treatment and I would not recommend him nor go back to him. Dr. Stamatos has relationships with numerous neurologists, has a wonderful bedside manner and staff but PLEASE be very careful before getting an epidural with him. Make sure it is warranted and that he reads your films.
Dr Stamatos is a wonderful doctor. Great bedside manner, and explains everything in detail. If he thinks an injection will not work he will not do it. And explains why. Best choice for pain management. ????m
