I owe my last 25 years of life to God through Dr. John W. Smith II. He treated me when my odds of making it were about 4%. He put himself on 24hr a day call every time I was in for treatment. And if you remember my hallucinations, who brought the beer?

I’ve been going to dr Smith for a little over 4 years. I’ve been fighting breast cancer for almost 9 years. He is the wisest most caring oncologist I’ve ever had. His knowledge is so vast that he oversees all my medical problems (that may or not be related to the trial I’m in, whoever knows) and keeps me in the best health I’ve been in since this nightmare started. I hope he never retires, and that I don’t come off NEAD status!

Business response:

We are happy to hear you had such a positive experience with Dr. Smith. He is a wonderful provider and we are glad to have been able to support you in your fight against cancer. We wish you continued health.

Dr. Smith has been my oncologist since I was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2007. I was referred to him by a physician friend who is also his patient. He is very smart, exceedingly kind, and has a thorough knowledge of research. I literally trust him with my life. I wish everyone could have care like this.

I found Dr. Smith to be a rock. He was the calm in my storm, knowledgeable, caring, responsive, gentle and respectful. My treatment was immediate, I felt totally comfortable and assured while he navigated me through surgery, chemotherapy and radiation. I would want Dr. Smith as my oncologist if, heaven forbid, cancer were to raise its ugly head ever again, and I would recommend him to anyone.

My wife feels that she has wasted two months with this physician, who has no sense of urgency or inclination to follow through. Both are very important when you have cancer. In our opinion, you, as a prospective patient, may be better served to get another oncology referral.
