I had no idea that healthcare could be so awful. Phone calls are not returned, help isn't provided while I spend hours each week trying to get help.

He made a mistake in leaving a bandaid contact lens in my eye after cataract surgery. It was supposed to be removed the next day. I was never informed that it was put in my eye. I sent photos of a severely irritated eye, but was erroneously told it was dry eye and to use eye drops. After 2 years I finally got a return call from him. He never apologized. When Manhattan Eye & Ear removed the contact lens, they informed me that this was serious and could have not only lead to permanent loss of vision, but also loss of my eye.

Dr. Seedor is the just the best, highly skilled, and very patient. 21 years ago, he performed a full PK transplant due to keratakonis, 20/20 vision to follow and played all my sports. Seven years ago, a perfect cataract surgery executed and then two years ago corneal dehiscence involving an accident. Dr. Seedor put me back together with emergency surgery and just last week another procedure (DSEK) and I'm seeing well and it's only improving. There's no surgeon like Dr. Seedor, I'm so blessed and lucky - thank you!!! Steven

Dr. Seedor has performed corneal transplant surgery and cataract removal on both my eyes. I can't speak highly enough of him. Everything went wonderfully and I consider him to be a fine doctor. My vision is now better than it has been since I was 5 years old. I'm currently 68.

I saw him September 9 at his new hospital, and I was supposed to be his first surgery at the new location, barring emergencies. Today is September28, and it has not yet been scheduled. He is in a hospital . I have called every day for twelve work days, and have yet to receive a return call to my messages.

He’s been my ophthalmologist since 2001. Cornea transplant is doing great. He also removed my mother’s cataracts and replaced her corneas. I highly recommend. A wonderful Doctor that will take the time to explain and really listen to you.

Dr. Seedor did my cornea transplant in January 2015. I had two other transplants done by a different doctor, but Dr. Seedor was the best.
