I moved to Kingston two years ago and in that time I have found that all but one mechanic I had gone to gave only adequate or sub-par service, and it kinda felt like "patchwork" repair, even the so called reputable ones. A good friend recommended JAS and described how they take time (use pictures and video) to explain what they find with my vehicle. I've never really left a review, but will absolutely take the time to recommend John's Auto. Friday evening my partner and I found out truck couldn't shift into drive, we called John's and they thankfully took it in and we were able to get it looked at come Monday. I absolutely feared the worst, thinking the transmission or something big, scary, and expensive had went on the truck. Of all things involved, a walnut was causing the shifter to get blocked.
