Dr. Oliver and his entire staff have been compassionate, kind and professional. They have made the appointments as comfortable as they could be. Highly recommended.
I do not recommend John Oliver. He made me feel extremely uncomfortable during procedures. Even with a nurse in the room, he did not talk me through my first pap smear. He did not listen to my concerns or personal experiences beyond my chart. He did not know up-to-date information about female health. He made inappropriate sexist jokes and comments throughout the appointment. The entire experience made me uneasy, disrespected, and anxious to trust any future gynecologists.
I have only seen Dr. Oliver one time to establish care with him but I have never felt more heard before. When I tell you this doctor spent over an hour with me, I’m not exaggerating and not once did I get the feeling he was getting annoyed with me. He listened to my traumatic birth story, and post natal care, then came up with a plan for possible treatments that no other doctors have offered. I’ve never felt more seen or heard. I’m so glad I listened to the recommendation from another one of his patient.
