I underwent double bypass surgery at Arlington Hospital Center on March 14,2017. I was advised that without surgical intervention, I only had a few days left…my left coronary artery was 90 per cent blocked; my circumflex artery Was 100 per cent blocked ; my right coronary artery was 40 per cent blocked- Dr. Garrett and his cardiac team saved my life on march14,2017 and I am alive today because of their amazing work… I would place my life in their hands without reservation. Dr. John Garett performed an open heart surgery for my dad and he did an amazing job. He grafted one artery and one vein to his heart. This is a very complicated surgery and it took about 6 hours. My dad is doing really well now. He saved my dad’s life. I really think He is an angel. He has more than 30 years of experience. He is an expert and knows what he is doing. Trust me on this. Dr. Garrett performed a Bentall procedure on me and did and excellent job. The nursing staff at the cardiac surgery unit are amazing. The patient to caregiver ratio on this unit is excellent and nurses actually do check patients every hour, 24 hours a day. Guests and family are welcome to visit patients and there are couches for visitor in patient rooms.
