Dr.Donahue and Dr. Whittaker worked on my left knee back in Feb.of 83 at PMMC. I had a Tibia Plateau fracture and torn ligaments,it was a mess.They did bone grafts,screws and staples and patched me back together. They told me I should get 10 years out of the repair.I'm here to say, I'm 72 years old and the knee is still working fine (it could use a grease fitting) but a stable as the day theY repaired it. Dr. Donahue repaired two ligaments and a tendon in my knee just over 25 years ago after a sports injury. He did a great job explaining my options, the recovery process and outlook. After being down for about a year for recovery I went on to play organized soccer each year for the next 15+ years, and competed in distance races on the track as well as a marathon.
