The doctor himself may be competent. However, the office is disorganized and difficult to deal with. Furthermore, the doctor started talking about surgery on a 15 year-old healthy girl who’s had a knee dislocation due to an accident without even talking about the x-rays first. Upon asking him, he said yes her knee was completely normal and the odds were unlikely that it would happen again, but the first words out of his mouth were surgery. Dr. Barley, Adam and Ashley have been the best care for my daughter. Dr. Barley understands and wants to get her well and back in the game but also cares tremendously about her long term wellness. Its this balance that makes him such a gem in Hampton Roads. I recommend him to anyone in sports! He is the best!
I'd visit a thousand times!! The staff is so friendly. What I appreciate was the warm and true concern of the staff as well as Dr. Barley! Even though I came in because I was in pain. I felt so much better afterwards because he was so encouraging and he gave me natural options as well as medical. He allowed me to make a decision after he gave full complete details. I walked out feeling better mentally and physically I'm working on getting better. Thanks
Dr. Barley is one of the best orthopedic sports doctors I have ever had. He takes his time with you. He actually listens to your problems and doesn't rush u through talking. He address all your problems the best way he feels. Give you options. He is just so caring. Is is one in a million bc most doctors don't listen and really don't care, but he does. Thank you Dr. Barley for everything and your wonderful staff. AMAZING PEOPLE!!!
