Everyone in L&D was great except for the elderly black woman (I think it was a woman idk) that was at the nurse's desk. When she does actually have to do part of her job she makes a big deal about it and rolls her eyes like a child 😂 if you're not capable of caring just don't work there babe

I am 8 weeks post emergency surgery. I had a huge endometrioma burst on July 28th. It was 22 cm big and 18 cm wide. It was the worst pain of my life like I was being burned from the inside out from my abdomen. I was admitted into the JPS ER very quickly as my heart rate was 150 and unable to walk. In the ER, staff flooded into my room and everyone was hands on. Tests were run quickly, staff felt very competent and worked well together. I am and have been very disappointed in most of the staff at John Peter Smith hospital. Especially the family health care clinic and behavioral health clinic. I was told by someone I talked to on the phone yesterday while checking up on the forms I faxed multiple times to my behavioral health clinic Pyschiatrist. And for whatever reason, she still didn't receive the forms and hasn't filled them out. I was advised to go a day early to drop off the forms for Disability and Snap Benefits I need for my new primary care provider ... read more

I love all of the care I have received thru the years- since 1987! JPS has saved my life from when I first found out I had lupus until now. But with lupus, I experience lots of fatigue, and standing, waiting for my prescriptions at any Jps pharmacy location, can be difficult. Plus I think they should add comfy chairs if they ever do decide to add them, and space them out so no one gets the flu or anything else from someone you are waiting in line beside. Thank you for all you do for the community!
