Horrible experience. Transplant surgeon cut my insides in multiple places. It cost me over $130,000 to donate a kidney to a stranger. After cutting me in multiple places, Dr. Vella would come into my room and tell me that nothing was wrong with me and that I was ruining their numbers for the average night stay for a living donor. Absolutely horrific experience. Mass General saved my life.
