I've been a patient of Dr. Sammartino for over 30 years. I get a full and thorough eye exam as well as new scripts for eyeglasses and contacts. He has a busy practice but I don't need to wait more than 20 mins to see him. I bighly recommend him.

He is also very compassionate, easy to talk to and understanding as well. I had gone to Dr. Sammartino for many years but unfortunately when my insurance changed I could no longer go to him. Recently, I was able to go back since I had gotten new insurance and I am so pleased and satisfied Dr. Sammartino has always been a kind, caring and knowledgeable physician and I am glad I can continue seeing him and would highly recommend him to anyone that is seeking a good, competent and thorough ophthalmologist.

I was very fortunate to have found Dr. Sammartino. He was recommended by someone whose relative had just had cataract surgery. I was seeing another doctor at the time and was undecided about the surgery. After meeting Dr. Sammartino my doubts left me. He loves what he does, and he truly cares about his patients.
Dr. Sammartino is an extremely knowledgeable, thorough, and caring physician. He has always carefully monitored my eye problems, exercises caution when he needs to, and always answers any questions I may have. My mother was also his patient, and he always took his time to thoroughly explain anything I needed to know to take the best care of my mother. I give Sammartino my highest recommendation. Even after moving, I still drive an hour to continue to see him.
