Two years ago I was having bone-on-bone knee pain and met with Dr. Nelligan. He suggested I was a candidate for a knee brace, "let's see if we can put off surgery". So true, I am quite mobile with no pain, and no need for replacement surgery yet. I appreciate his ability to look at the whole picture and alternatives, if possible.
Dr. Nelligan did my surgery five years ago in 2020 back to back six months apart from each other. He’s the best the best there is I would’ve never went nowhere else. I’m letting y’all know he is a five star doctor when it comes to knee surgery boom boom he is awesome. I’m actually running again. I’m loving it.🥰
Dr. Nelligan left me with total drop foot and numbness up past my knee. First he tried to blame the anesthesiologist. Then he tried to convince me it would come back. After 6 months it was worse, so I had testing done. I'll have more tests done. The hip he replaced is fine. He seemed surprised that he might get sued for permanently injuring someone.
Two (2) hip replacements in 2024, one in late January and the other in late October. Dr. Nelligan is a knowledgeable, experienced, compassionate surgeon. I would recommend Dr. Nelligan highly. He listens and is respectful of your thoughts and questions, which are many. He takes the time you need to understand and be prepared for a hip replacement and what follows. Again, my rating is a strong firm * * * * * and thanks.
