My father fell and injured his knee. His leg started becoming very red. During our first visit to the emergency room, the doctor only ordered an X-ray and an ultrasound. Even though I pointed out that he was developing cellulitis and asked for antibiotics, the doctor said they were not necessary and told us to follow up with the family doctor, since the X-ray and ultrasound results were “normal.” During that time, his leg continued to get redder and worse. John Muir Concord Medical Center Hospital’s ED included is Magnificent. They saved my husband when he had sepsis, again treated his pancreatitis, and even during covid managed less than 13-minute wait time. I cannot say enough about the entire team Nurses, Doctors, security, etc. We all come for care under bad circumstances, and these folks deliver well above average care under the worst of circumstances. Thank you!
