I have mixed feelings. Hard to get appts sometimes with pcp. Months sometimes. Urgent care usually same day or next day. Wait awhile on phone. Mostly deal with John Muir docs. Saw maybe one UCSF specialist there. Parking lot available but kind of tight and awkward to get a ticket on a steep incline. They should definitely let people get to the top on flat to get ticket. Go round to parking and we went up to 3rd level and parked right by door. Validated parking free. The staff were super friendly and helpful, everyone with a smile and a helping hand.
Was referred here for specialty care. Thank goodness I don’t actually have a serious illness because making an appointment is impossible. Always told to wait for someone to call me back to schedule…guess I’ll never get to review care there because no one ever called. Inexcusable.
I signed up for a primary care (PC) doctor here ~ 4 years ago and they've consistently let me down. On more than 1 occasion my doctor failed to order tests I specifically requested. If they're only giving me 5 minutes of my doctor's time each year, the least they could do is pay attention and get it right. I'm not confident that Mychart messaging adequately protects patient privacy.
