I’m angry and deeply disappointed with John Moore Services. Their constant advertising of “free estimates” is not just misleading, it’s deceptive. I was watching TV with my 86-year-old relative when a John Moore commercial came on. She immediately said, “They say they don’t charge for an estimate, but they do!” I was stunned. She had been told the estimate was free, yet was instructed to make a 175 dollar check out to the company. The estimate? Several thousand dollars. The actual repair? My rating is " -2stars because they try to take advanced of you. On 8/25 I call them about my air conditioner, and they came out and said that the fan motor and capacitor was bad. They gave me a price of $2429 to fix the problem. I was shock and had another Teck check it out and the problem was the capacitor was bad. This was only a $35 part, the fan motor would have cost about $250. Which save me over $2100.00. Also they said I need a 40amp two pole contactor for the price of $789. Again this is only A $15 part. I was very disappointed that John Moore tries to pass off its after hours phone pick up as a real person when it is a very inadequate AI application. If Don Valentine wasn't paying for so many commercials maybe he could hire real people that could provide real customer service. The robot scheduled an appointment for technicians that never showed up.

Talked into a $1000 kitchen / laundry room drain cleaning with the same service provided in eight months fir free if needed. No free lunch. Couldn't have been Moore deceived by what I thought was a reputable company.

Run Run Run Run , commercial on TV is B.S., they care about people? The part needed was under warranty, but the labor cost $1000/hour. CONSUMER BEWARE!!!! Would not recommend

Today 7/11/2024 I had a nice guy w/John Moore Svcs; come out to “tweak” a few issues with a/c unit. For what I was charged - over $5300.00 I could have had a brand new unit installed.  A clogged line was cleared, a fan in the a/c was repaired, a small amount of freon was filled and I was talked into getting a “UV” unit installed in the attic to “prevent mildew” buildup which would normally cost around $500.00 by any reputable dealer - instead of their $2,000.00 charge.  The guy on tv who advertises for John Moore seems so ... read more

I don’t post often, but my experience with John Moore is worth sharing. The technician John Moore sent to my home initially was extremely inappropriate, texting me photos of his genitalia while on-site and calling me from his personal cell phone during the following days. I felt extremely unsafe and made sure male neighbors were on the phone throughout the visit. The second individual sent out left garbage and supplies all over my lawn. Christian Lopez arrived on time and was very knowledgeable about the assistance I needed to have my water leaks repaired. He explained what was needed and made the necessary repairs in a timely fashion. I recommend John Moore services. I continue to use them to keep my home operating. Their personnel are always professional in their work that is always first class.
