I recently visited for the first time in trying to find a new dentist. The dentist and staff were very nice and professional. My issue and the reason for the low scores is that I have dental insurance. I provided them with my dental insurance details. I was not told "we are out of network and you will be billed for these standard procedures beyond the acceptable out of network amount". I get how insurance works. My family and I have gone to Tate Family Dentistry for over 28 years now and so we have had just about everything done from braces, crowns, extractions, cosmetics, and even several weekend emergencies in which they were available to assist us with broken teeth and an abscess tooth. Dr. Tate and his staff are professional, yet warm and friendly. Recently, I had to have two cavities filled and had zero pain during or after my appointment. Dr. Tate has the ability and skill to deliver excellent treatment all while making you feel completely comfortable and at ease (so much so where I almost fell asleep while he was filling my cavities) now that's GREAT dentistry! I could not be more pleased with this office every single time I visit! I definitely recommend Dr. Tate!
Dr. Tate placed a crown on a cracjed tooth. The office staff fit me in the schedule and Dr. Tate did a great job firting the crown.
I had trusted Dr Tate with my teeth for many years. Everytime I went there was something wrong with my teeth, I would get it fixed and it was an on-going process the whole time I went there. My teeth only got worse. They did 4 fillings and crowns recently and all had to be replaced and they where gonna make me pay for their mistake after I have already given them around 40K for dental work in my lifetime. I had not been to the dentist in many years prior to my first visit to Dr. Tate over a year ago. My teeth, although they were cavity free, needed A LOT of work to get back to clean. I have had great appointments with Dr. Tate. He is very gentle and I was completely satisfied with the work he performed. I had braces for 9 months, and I wear my retainer each night to maintain my straight teeth. I would definitely recommend Dr. Tate and his office staff if you are looking for a great dentist.
Almost Part of the Family My whole family sees Doctor Tate and he has always been a wonderful dentist. I have been seeing Dr. Tate since I was 11 and had just moved to Texas. Since then I haven't found a better dentist.
