I had an outstanding experience. Doctor Miller and his staff took the time to walk me through the details of the planned surgical repair and what to expect throughout the recovery and rehabilitation process. At 6 months, my foot is doing great and I am glad I made the decision to move forward with the surgery, and I am glad my primary care physician referred me to Dr. Miller.
Although Dr. Miller is a kind person with a kind staff and the reputation of being a good surgeon, I have since learned that physical therapy would have been a much better and likely more successful option for my problem which, sadly, he never bothered to suggest. Too late now. Since surgery I have daily foot pain as well as an altered gait resulting in new onset ankle pain, knee pain, and loss of balance.
