Dr. Melba has been VERY helpful in dealing with my aging parents. Dad in particular. He has my back when I have to make Dad do something he doesn't want to do. I'm about to get him more involved in Mom's care as she's been healthier and more lucid than Dad but that's starting to change.

Dr.Melba is an excellent physician. He is probably the only one I trust. Although he has an extreme, almost impossible caseload, he still remains professional, kind and genuinely cares for his patients! He needs to be cloned!
Been a patient of Dr. Melba for 20 years. I always hated going to doctors office. Dr. Melba has always made me feel very comfortable and takes time to listen to my concerns and answers any questions in layman’s words. Staff is just as professional and make you feel comfortable.

Dr. Melba was the family doctor for my family doctor from 2006 to 2008 when I lived in Greenville, SC. He also took my son in when he joined me in 2007. He was awesome and very nice to us. I still remember the moment when he was using nitrogen freezing an unexpected wart on my son's finger and meanwhile his soft tone comforted the kid so well. I have been seeing Dr. Melba for about 12 years and everytime he has listened to my concerns, provided the correct treatments and has done everything to make sure I am happy and healthy. Best doctor ever. Highly recommend.
Dr. Melba came into our life eight years ago. My husband was recovering from open heart surgery, and many complications from that surgery. He was in such a weakened condition that he was not responding to any of the medications or therapies he was being given. Our Son told us about how awesome his new Doctor was. On the very first visit we had with Dr. Melba, he put our fears at rest, put my husband on the proper medications and therapies. Dr. Melba is the reason my husband is alive today!!!
Dr. Melba is an excellent healthcare provider who has served as my primary care physician since 2003. I highly recommend John and his staff to anyone located in the Upstate of SC who is in need of family medicine services.
