Looked at xrays said I have a slight tear in rotator recommend Physical therapy for 6 weeks come back to see if that did the tricks to take pain away

Dr. Mariani is phenomenal in all aspects of his practice! In-office visits he is clear and explains everything in a way that is easy to understand. He welcomes questions and discussions. I have been a patient of Dr Mariani's since 19 97 ,he's a great doctor ,I trust him with any surgery he may have to do on my knee ,he always takes the time to inform you of anything that needs to be done, and he'll take the time to sit and listen to any questions you may have, he is a great surgeon and very down to earth.

He was absolutely amazing! He took his time and was very careful not to make me in anymore pain that I was already in. He explained everything to me on what he wanted to do. I would highly recommend Dr.Bernardini to all my family and friends. The best bed side manner I have had in awhile.

Where do I even begin… I had surgery in June, 2022. I had osteochondral defects in my knee. Surgery to repair the defects was done. When I began having significant swelling after my knee gave out in my kitchen in Dec, I went to the urgent care, I was told to use pain gel, then I was told it was bursitis and then I was told I had a stress fracture… all of which were untrue. I fell and tore my ACL and LCL. I went to see him and I was told to go to PT for two weeks and come back to schedule surgery. I had complained about pain in my calf and neuropathy in my foot. Doctor was very dismissive of the pain. Before going to PT I obtained a second opinion. I was sent for an ultrasound. The pain was being caused by a DVT Clot in my leg. Needless to say if I had started therapy without dealing with the clot I probably would be dead right now.

I've been TRYING to speak to someone to get a telephone/video appointment for my Mom because she's in SO MUCH pain that she can barely get out of bed to use the commode, let alone go to his office. She BROKE her HIP in JULY, but are making her WAIT until the END OF OCTOBER for a hip replacement, and with ZERO PAIN MEDICATION!! wth? I tore my ACL in 2017 and he did an excellent job with a reconstructive surgery! Years later I have no pain, and my knee extends and performs like normal. Very friendly doctor.
