I was seeing Slomsky due to foot/ankle pain. Slomsky correctly identified a secondary problem that I was having, but he made no effort to determine the root cause. He told me that I just need to “start slowing down and being more careful.” I was 38 and have two small children, so it’s necessary for me to remain active. I got an ingrown toenail removed. I got 3rd degree burn, an ulcer, and an allergic reaction to the acid he used. It was infected so he put me on antibiotics & I got sick on every kind, he stopped giving me them even though I still had the infection & 3 months later with multiple visits my toe progressively got worse. I ended up getting hospitalized, diagnosed with osteomyelitis, and early signs of bone infection. I now have a picc line in for 6 weeks of IV antibiotics with the possibility of surgery still on the table. The r... read more
Had left foot surgery may 1 2019 to remove a small object from my foot went to 3 office visits before surgery dr. Slomsky was very rude and didn't listen to me about where the object went in my foot.all 3 office visits he said he would cut the top of my foot not the side by the small toe.woke after surgery to find out he made a 2 1/2" cut anyway on the side then first doctors appt they removed the stiches early and didnt get them all out also had to find new doctor to help me its be 6 months and i still can't walk properly o... read more
After years and years of foot and ankle pain Dr. Slomsky has my feet and ankles pain free! He is the best foot doctor I have ever been to and I have been to quite a few!
I couldn't believe how rude this doctor was. He chastised his nurse for not doing the x-ray correctly, talked over me when I tried to give him my symptoms and walked away before I was finished asking questions. Unbelievable.
Dr. Slomsky is the best of the best! He is caring and knowledgeable. I had a minor foot surgery and he was with me every step of the way. The office is clean and the staff is organized and polite. I am VERY thankful to have found Dr. Slomsky and would give him a 10/10 if I could. Recommend to all.
Dr. Slomsky performed bunion surgery on both of my feet in '03 & '04. While I was recuperating, he took time out on his day off (while enjoying the Notre Dame game; GO IRISH!) to call and checked in on me on his day off; from Indiana! He was always professional and informative and VERY helpful and caring. I thank you so much for everything. This man is AWESOME!!
