I had to wait for 40 minutes before being called. Once I was in the exam room Alex interviewed me and wrote notes for Dr Hicks. Dr Hicks came in within 3 minutes and listened to my symptoms and then gave his diagnosis and potential treatment pending the results of the MRI. I really like Dr Hicks. He prescribed a steroid to reduce the swelling in the nerve that's causing my issue and ordered an MRI.
Dr Hicks is such a good listener , this was my first visit with him.. I feel like he “heard” me .. heard who I am.. this is huge for me.. he is very professional and knowledgeable TY Dr Hicks .. plus his staff is extremely welcoming
After years of acupuncture, chiropractor, physical therapy, injections and pills, my Dr. Amanda Fernandez of Sylva, NC referred me to Dr. John M Hicks of Hendersonville NC. I was immediately moving without pain. My last words to Dr. HICKS prior to anesthesia " repair my back so that I can ski again" and 3 months after surgery I was skiing! You have improved my life, beyond expectations!
We had to wait 30 minutes past our appointment time.
All went smoothly and efficiently .
