Dr Lupovici is an excellent periodontist. I have been a patient at Metro Perio for 25 years. His hygienist Josee is outstanding—thorough, dedicated and conscientious.
I was referred to Dr. Lupovici for gum recession and mentioned I had a prior gum graft. I offered to send records from my previous periodontist, but he declined, saying he only needed my dentist’s notes. At the in-person consult, he immediately recommended surgery. When I followed up by phone with reasonable questions and again asked why he didn’t want my prior records, he became incredibly rude — talking over me and acting defensive.
