DONT GO TO HIM, HE IS IN IT FOR THE MONEY I have chronic back pain due to an WC injury almost 30 years ago. My pain management physician referred me to this doctor, who I term, "idiot who is in this for financial gain". I have new symptoms, which really flared up as of 1/20/2014. J Cox I was terribly disappointed at this doctor(if you can call him that!) he has been hired by the insurance companies to sabotage claims and block treatments. I hope he loses his practice he is a terrible person besides....Beghin is a sad little boy....and Liberty mutual is so wrong to employ him...
superintendent like everone else a wasted trip. trash in the magazine rack,one magazine from 2005 & the other one 2009. unlike any other drs. office there were no diplomas or licenses posted on the wall anywhere. he reread my mri's & concluded degenerative disc disease.the anular tear is nothing & the misaligned vertabrate was no big deal either. does not believe in chiropractic anything.only recomended epidurils & physcotic medicine.he pretty much told me to throw my cane away & go back to work. WHAT A JOKE!!!!!
cured patient I was sent to this doctor by my family physician for a problem with sciatica. Another spine doc had wanted to do a fusion. Dr. Beghin found the problem, did a microdiscectomy as an outpatient and I was back to work in a couple days. I think he was caring and an excellent surgeon. Looks like some of these reviews were written by people who don't have much wrong, but want to stay home take drugs or be disabled.
really is this what my employer thinks im worth? a joke! After having an industrial injury in june I have beensent to three doctors. two which state I need surgery and then Dr Beghin. After a few minor things in a short exam(exluding a MRI i brought showing a damaged nerve and disk) he states there is no reason for the back pain and leg nerve pain and numbness I have still experienced and sees no need for surgery...Really!!! he was more interested in the anti depressant prescribed two yrs ago for menapause (which I have not ... read more
Aweful IME doctor I too was sent to Dr. Beghin for an IME. I've read the previous reviews & feel we were all at the same appt. I too was in the office all alone. The receptionist came in the room & scanned a magazine while we talked. I found his questions trapped you in a corner. He would say "If not working, do you just lie around all day?" I knew if I said yes it would be bad & no would be bad. I told him I did my light housecleaning but had help from my adult daughter for heavy stuff. I understand importance of stretching... read more
Worst Doctor in Phoenix I am writing on behalf of a friend, but my information is accurate. In my opinion, John Beghin should not even be able to use the title of doctor. If he does know medicine, he doesn't show it with his actions or his reporting. It is obvious to me that, as other people have written here, this doctor is getting paid by the worker's comp insurance companies as an IME to tell them what they want to here - mainly that their employees are able to return to work - even when they are not! Sold his soul to the Workmans Comp Insurance Devil Dr. Beghin has burned me 2 times with his so called IME. I was told the first time that i was making up my pain but i could be a candidate for neck surgery. How is this man still a reliable IME doctor. After surgery i am still in as much pain or more and his next appt. he releases me to full duty with no restrictions. The workmans comp canceled my claim. IME THAT GETS PAID TO LIE!! My first view of this man was in the parking lot as my driver helped me out of the car and handed me my crutches. Upon getting in the office, the "receptionist" went into the "exam" room with myself and the "dr . It seemed to be very diffucult for this man to make eye contact with me.
