Dr. Loftus's office does not communicate well and is very cold. I didn't interact with Dr. Loftus, but when I asked which ports they use for port placements she said that she and he do not know, and to ask the hospital. I'm hoping this was a misunderstanding, but if it isn't then that's incredibly dangerous. Ports are at high risk for complications even when well-made, and the commonly used Bard Powerport has been shown to fall apart inside the body. In fact, they have been recalled due to this problem.
