The ladies that run this company are amazing. They are incredibly compassionate, caring, and understanding. We had a very difficult situation and from the moment they were made aware of the issue they did everything they could to ensure it came to a positive conclusion. From Beth, the owner, to all the lovely ladies who work in the office, they truly care on a very human level and you couldn't ask for a better landlord. From an outside perspective, the people that work there are wonderful. They have a hard job of communicating between the property owners and the issues that come up from the property renters, and more often than not, they get blamed for the owners unwillingness to fix an issue. They work with people from all walks of life regarding applications. Good people to work for and reasonable prices on their rentals. I would suggest them to any of my friends looking to rent.
They are awful people they never told us how many caged pets were too many we stated on our application that we had SEVERAL page cages with rats in them. We are being kicked out as a result. They have been rude and stuck up the whole time and we left our laundry in the dryer ONE time on accident and then it was the only thing she brought up every time she saw us. Usually the only people who leave reviews are the unhappy people. But I had an awesome experience with Gates Realty! They were kind and generous and treated me like a person. I loved the apartment I rented from them for over a year and a half. Plus I got my entire deposit back. They were great!
We have been living at a place in stevenson for a Lil over a year now. We made the mistake of signing a 6 month lease on March 25th, and trusted them to change the date from January to March, and they didn't. Now my entire family, a 10 month old girl, 3 yr old boy, and my husband and I have to be out July 31st instead of September 30th. Now because of this back handed management we haven't saved up money to move and will most likely be homeless. And want to know what John L Scott says about this? Looks like the other reviews here are positive, but prior to Michele and Lori. We are absolutely disgusted with our experience with John L. Scott Metro Property Management. They do a very poor job of communicating with the owner and the renter. It was difficult to get a call back when we would leave voicemail. When they did communicate with us, there were blatant contradictions in their statements. Additionally we feel they did not hold up to their end of the contract. They are the BEST property management company I have ever rented from. They are very quick with repairs, getting your depoist back and they are very honest!! I love there property manager Cori she is great always willing to hellp! I would recommend them to everyone! If you are looking for a rental call them first they are cheapest application fee in town!!!
