On May 13 , 2026 I had a bi-lateral complete knee replacement. Dr John Masonis along with his staff did the surgery and it was a complete success… I heard about dr Masonis thru a friend of my brother in law, and I’m extremely happy I decided to ask him to do my surgery, and that he suggested in my case a double knee replacement was very safe and recovery would be fine … in a week and a half I was walking without assistance and now have full extension in both knees … I still have a couple months or so to rehab before I’m clos... read more

Dr. Masonis is in my opinion is the best knee and hip surgeon in the entire Ortho Carolina group. He is an athlete himself, and understands how to get athletes back to their activity. He takes the time to thoroughly review the patient's records, and makes evaluations based on what their goals are.
