I pre-registered and showed up 10 minutes before my appointment. Paid my co-pay and took a seat. 5 minutes later, I was called to the exam room. The nurse took my vitals and then asked me to wait. And wait I did. After 45 minutes, my provider arrived and spoke with me for 5 minutes. I'm not sure how out health care system can value the time of physicians so much higher than the time of patients. The nurse and the doctor were insincere. They lacked warmth and even a friendly tone. They only seemed to be seeing me as a way to get to the next patient. A lack of interest in the he of my condition and a lack of interest in working with me on my treatment plan. I felt like I was a burden to them both. It was a terrible experience and I do not trust that they have care much about my health condition. Again, the best way I can describe how their behavior made me feel was as a burden to them.
