We have been with Dr. Kalange for the past few years and have had the same front desk & assistant since we started treatment in 2016! They are very kind and always make sure that my daughter is comfortable. I highly appreciate Dr. Kalange's work and his ability to fix the most unique cases. We always leave the office with a smile on our face.
As someone who received Kalange's orthodontic care for over 5 years, I would recommend any other orthodontist in Boise. Kalange had no consideration for my comfort and it was obvious he only cared about getting my appointment over with and getting paid. Every time I sat in his chair was wave of anxiety. I was really pleased with the service. Dr. Kalange was very cooperative and understanding. He kept our considerations before any decisions were made. Treatment was discussed thoroughly.
Wouldn't honor groupon. Bedside manner rushed and abrasive. He did not introduce himself to us. He tried to be nice, but it didn't work. Front desk polite, but eating when we came in. Clinical Asst very good, very kind. For what orthodontics cost, professionalism is the least one can ask for.
I took my child here for a consultation. Dr. Kalange did not speak to my child at all, he spoke over her. He didn't involve her in her care plan at all. His explanations were vague and he seemed disconnected when speaking with me. Most of the visit was the MONEY... not the child or the treatment. I would not recommend.
Dr. John Kalange, is hands-down the BEST orthodontist in the Northwest. His state of the art, gorgeous practice, Creekside Center, on the lake at Parkcenter Park, is relaxing and his staff is kind and accommodating. Dr. Kalange offers fair prices and payment plans. I cannot say enough about the compliments I have gotten since my treatment. I also appreciate how much Dr. Kalange gives back to the Boise community. As a person who got braces as an adult, I am so glad I did. Highly recommended!
I was a patient of Dr. Kalange for a few years. I found his bed side manner appalling. He was unwilling to explain the procedures, and when adjusting or examining brackets his manner was sharp and condescending. He didn't spend any time with me when I had questions and if a question was answered I felt like I was being put down for asking. I highly would NOT recommend getting braces from this facility.
