Dr. Wixted is very caring as well as extremely professional. He made sure all my questions were answered and I knew exactly what was going on for my surgery. I am very glad I decided to go into BIDMC and have him as my surgeon. Cannot recommend him enough.

Dr. Wixsted repaired by tib/fib fracture 9 years ago at UMass Med Hospital at the age of 59. He was fantastic. I owe him my ability to walk/jog without a limp. The best orthopedic doctor makes a big difference. He definitely made a big difference in my recovery. Thank you Dr Wixted! I will never forget you.
