Dr. Clarke gave me back my mobility and lifestyle. He did hip replacements on both sides over the course of a summer 17 years ago. I am active at 74, continue to workout at high intensity cardio, yoga, pilates, downhill skiing and walking. The doctor sees me every two years for a follow up. I appreciate that this is being monitored regularly to identify any possible changes. Dr. Clarke is kind while business-like in these exams, and explains his observations in terms I can understand.
I had a hip replaced by a different surgeon, which eventually became infected. Dr. Clarke was astute in diagnosing the problem and guiding me through the long process of rectifying the situation. I can't say enough good things about his clinical expertise and his assuring bedside manner.
Not taken seriously. Totally blown off. Wouldn't read PT report requesting MRI. Was told it it wasn't better it in two months to come back and he would hand me off to another doc.
Everyone at SOS is top notch. Dr. Smart performed a procedure on my shoulder which others were not willing to do. I'm only a few weeks out from the procedure and already I can feel a huge improvement. The whole experience was outstanding and I highly recommend Dr Smart to anyone with shoulder problems.
Excellent social and professional acumen. Excellent talent and proven experience. Entire team was very good and quickly earned my unconditional trust in their capability and in a successful outcome. I clearly made the right choice with Dr. Clarke and was reminded of that every time that I met with him. I can not understate how wise a choice it was that I entrusted Dr. Clarke and his team with my future health.
Had hip injection. No pain at all. Was very nervous but it was over before I could even say are we done?
I was having a right hip injection. Dr Clarke is a talented surgeon who has a sense of humor. It went very well. He has already replaced my left hip years ago. Friendly and concerned about my health.
He listens to your concerns and gives you reasons why he does what he does in layman's terms. I highly recommend him to many others.
Dr Smart and the entire team were kind, patient, respectful and professional through every contact, from initial call to post-operative follow up. They kept me informed, made sure everything explained was understood. I would highly recommend him and his office of professionals.
