Dr. Callahan is a wonderful doctor. He listened to my concerns, spent quite a long time examining my hand. He had my hand x-rayed and determined a course of treatment. Tanya his PA was very helpful and she did the initial examination. Dr. Callahan and all of his staff made me feel very comfortable. I was in his office for one hour and a half. During this time Dr. Callahan’s staff kept me abreast of what was happening. Truly a wonderful experience.
Great doctor. Has done many of my hand and surgeries. Everyone has worked out just wonderful. Trust him fully.
Dr. Is friendly, and a great surgeon. However they do not value you as a person. I have had to wait more than an hour to be seen at my scheduled appointment, and now today i sit here over 2 hours from my appointment time still waiting. This after being rescheduled last time after he overbooked. I had to wait 2 months for this appointment. Patients time matters as well.
First, you will only see him in surgery, not before or after. Everyone I know whose had this surgery has come out with a bandage - I came out with a very uncomfortable splint/cast! And it HAS to stay on for 2 long weeks. Plus, he made an incision on my wrist but noone could tell me why and it hurts. all totally unnecessary. it's been a month and I still don't have full strength in my hand. He made a very simple surgery more complicated - why?
Dr Callahan has done 6 hand surgeries on me. He has always been professional, comforting, and did not push surgery unless it was really necessary. I also felt that his staff (both Tiffany and Mark) were very knowledgeable and courteous. I would recommend Dr Callahan to anyone having difficulties with their hands.
I have had two surgeries performed by Dr Callahan. I feel Dr Callahan is an amazing specialist. Dr Callahan is very thorough explains every procedure to my satisfaction, answers any questions, and is very timely.
October 2014 I had a serious break and crushed wrist...a plate was inserted...and 7 yrs later...I can only praise the tedious and complex surgery that was DONE by Dr. Callahan...I CAN'T THANK YOU ENOUGH
Thumb surgery. Very smooth professional operation. Healed beautiful and rehabbing well.
This dr is horrible second time i have seen him he is a very nasty dr. Tells me my broken wrist healed broken the bone is sticking out of my wrist is lying saying its only swollen my butt for nine months. Wanted therapy but now he cant even send me for that his favorite therapist is only seeing certain people when she told us all she was off due to coronavirus she lies too. Tells me i can live with my hand not being lined up with my arm. Tells me to take ibuprofen for six weeks then come back and see his np so he dont have t... read more
