I had meniscus surgery to remove partially torn meniscus in my left knee. I previously had one on my right knee 17 years prior with a different doctor. Both went well, but the one with Dr. Hung was almost no pain immediately after surgery and back to most daily activities in less than a week with minimal discomfort.
I’ve had both shoulders done within 2 years of each other, I thought he was great, never once had a problem after the surgeries. 2015 and in 2017
Absolute GREED!!! On Christmas my wife missed a step on a set of stairs. She fell headfirst into the car in the driveway. After taking her to the ER at Good Samaritan Hospital we were told that her wrist and scapula were both fractured and that both would require surgery. We were given a referral to Dr. John Hung with Multicare Orthopedics and Sports Medicine. The following morning, I scheduled an appointment to see Dr. Hung on the upcoming Thursday. Was referred to Dr. Hung by Tricare waited 2 months for appointment spent all of 5 minutes with him as he brushed of my concerns didnt even fully evaluate the issue i was initially scheduled for, after having an mri and 2 prior doctors saying i have a tear among other issues in my shoulder and have been in pain over a year i waited months for an appointment to be rushed through my appointment and still dont have answers to my questions i will be asking for a transfer of care i do not recommend.
Very disappointed with my experience with Dr. Hung. He spent maybe 2 minutes at most with me in the room, talked so fast that I couldn’t keep with with what he was saying and then muttered something about physical therapy then left the room and later sent his medical assistant back with paper work. He is an example of a person who became a doctor for the money and treated me like just another number and a room to clear.
