I have always had great care from Dr Yocum and he has been my Dr for many years. I've had great results from all procedures. I'm sorry that he is retiring soon and I will surely miss him. That being said, I'm also very happy for him and hope he enjoys every single day of his retirement!!
Went to him for hip pain last October. He told me I was too old to have my hip ball rounded off, but I was young enough to have hip replacement surgery. Did the recommended cortisol shot. Went back today as my hip is hurting more than before. Now he says I am young enough to have the procedure done that I was too old for last October. I suspect I'm being scammed as he recommended the specialist to go to.
For starters I have been transferred around the clinic to multiple physicians. Really like the one that resigned. Saw Yocum and pretty sure the only thing he looked at was the x-rays . Not the mri or notes of care for past year there. I walked out crying and didn't even finish our appointment. Extremely rude and told me I was emotional as well. So far I'm happy with Dr. Yocum and the staff is very nice.
I saw him on July 22 2021 , due to my knee literally moving and killing me everytime . At the time of the appointment I was literally told he could feel my knee move but the problem was my weight not my knee .. when I told him I have PCOS and I know that’s not a excuse but it is extremely hard for me to loose weight , which I have been trying to loose weight .
