I had a scheduled visit the front desk, nurse and person who did my blood draw were great as always. My Dr interaction was fine at the beginning, but when I asked about a form that I had dropped of last week he became almost angry and obstinate. He told me to leave the office? I am looking for another physician as I assume I am not allowed to come back? Seems very unprofessional to me.
After listening to me describe what was going on, Dr Wilkerson confirmed his diagnoses and wrote a referral to a specialist. I’ve trusted Dr Wilkerson with all my medical needs for approximately 37 yrs. He actively listens and he doesn’t prescribe more or less than what is needed.
Dr Wilkerson is an excellent physician. I have been his patient since he first began practice in the northern Chicago suburbs. I credit Dr Wilkerson for providing the needed push to end a 20 year pack a day smoking habit and also for encouraging me to have annual prostrate exams. Both of those actions saved my life! His office staff is excellent and appointments nearly always run on schedule. I very highly recommend him! He also is a geriatric patient specialist.
