Dr. Gurskis was called in when the hospital could not get my pain under control, and he made a major difference. He is an older doctor with a lot of experience, and once you get to know him, he is truly a great physician. He has a dry sense of humor, which may not be for everyone, but he genuinely cares about helping his patients. He has adjusted his schedule to help me with my pain, and I have never felt like he was trying to hustle me. Dr. Gursksis is very knowledgeable about pain management, the brain, the mind and many other topics. He is a very compassionate doctor who cares about his patients’ well-being. He cares about helping his patients get pain-free. He is supportive of integrative medicine like acupuncture. He has a great sense of humor and is very thorough with copious notes. Overall, I am grateful that I found him to help me in my management of fibromyalgia pain.
Stay far away from this doctor, truly. Seek pain mgmt elsewhere. You WILL regret ANY encounter you have with him IF you make it through his bizarre behavior & banter.
