Establishment turns their head to sexual harassment. Absolutely disgusting.
Been going for years. Great bier and food! Beautiful view overlooking the river....try the Floodwater Brown and say hi to Hops, the adorable golden retriever:)
All for irreverent humor but sexual harassment is no joke. When so many men and women struggle to be heard/feel ok to speak out, the owner's choice to hang sign "to lighten" up the issue contributes the problem. It is insensitive, discriminatory and callous.
Based on public evidence, this establishment is totally sexist and thinks sexual harassment is a joke. That's fine. I won't eat there!
Unfortunate that in this day and age, an establishment can be so callous when it comes to subjects like sexual harrasment and rape. And when confronted about it, you laughed it off. Incredibly unfortunate and pretty disappointing.
