This is a world-class public psychiatric hospital. The care is world-class. I've been to Stanford, and Kaiser, and only John George psychiatrists know how to properly give me the right medication. Once you go world, you never go back. Also, the staff is amazing, and the food and drinks are awesome too.
First Off I Am Trans. The whole time I was there they misgendered me. Making me feel more uncomfortable, unsafe and angry. I was transferred from Washington Hospital to here at 2 o’clock in the morning and the first thing that they did when they rolled me in I asked when can I see my mom when can I go home? They said they don’t do releases at 2 o’clock in the morning, they said I have to spend the night here. I'm putting 5 stars because I want everyone to know that the care at this mental health facility is bad, I have family that have been to this mental hospital for treatment and the care is pretty bad and the staff are apathetic they don't care about their patients or care for the patients.
**** ZERO STARS **** I will be holding this hospital liable in a lawsuit if something happens to our son for releasing him too early. He is incapable of taking care of himself and these people care less and hang up on you 5x if not more, if you just ask them one question, because that's all I was able to ask. DO NOT BRING YOUR FAMILY HERE IF YOU LOVE THEM !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Keep reading beyond the fake reviews.
I AM A PHYSICIAN. HORRIBLE HOSPITAL. THE STAFF IS NOT QUALIFIED TO DIAGNOSE. THE STAFF CONSTANTLY MISDIAGNOSES THEIR PATIENTS AND THE STAFF HAS NO UP TO DATE TRAINING. DO NOT TRUST THIS HOSPITAL. THE STAFF IS CONSTANTLY ON THEIR PHONES LEAVING THE PATIENTS UNATTENDED. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND NOR REFER.
