I’ve had a super hard time finding a kind caring doctor who wants to take time to listen and understand my needs and Dr Oliva is a prime example of very little bedside manners and probably the least caring Doctor I have met yet, my trust in any kind of obgyn is tanking after my experience in his office.
I am a new patient with Dr. Oliva. He is very professional with great chairside mannerism. Clearly explained my diagnosis and treatment alternatives. Office receptionist was polite and expedited. I am very pleased. UPDATE: AUGUST 2025. 5 years later. If you're a patient that needs to be coddled or has no sense of accountability for your own health, then Dr. Olivia probably will not be a good fit for you. He does has a very serious demeanor. Ladies, DO NOT GO TO THIS DOCTOR! After telling the nurse my concerns. Dr Oliva did an “annual exam of my breasts and a pap”. I waited a couple of weeks, still no test results. The nurse said “he didn’t take any tissue samples during the exam.” Then what the heck was he doing down there. It sure felt like he took a sample! I was uncomfortable for a few days after the exam. If you call even remotely close to 12pm the receptionist will pick up the phone and immediately hang up. I called at 11:50 and the receptionist picked up then hung up the phone 5 times, 6th time I called i got their "out to lunch" message. If you don't want to do your job just say that. Incompetent and disgusting people shouldn't be working in this profession. I highly advise everyone to read the reviews, I have no doubt they are paying people to leave 5 stars because all the one star reviews are the truth.
