OMG, I should have read these reviews first before seeking help. He has zero interest or compassion in helping you and after asking for help after failed HRT and excessive bleeding (after almost 5 years of no bleeding) his note via the assistant was "notify her that there is no on/off switch for the uterus" I mean as if I wouldn't know this at the age of 53. I've been to his office 3x. First time I wasn't impressed with his negative remarks about me being from NY. Second visit was half decent, third and final visit left me storming out without even being in his presence for 5minutes. Horrible bedside manner, condescending and rude. I dont care whats going on in your personal life but if you are in a profession of being of service than you change your attitude or go find a new profession.
I’ve had a super hard time finding a kind caring doctor who wants to take time to listen and understand my needs and Dr Oliva is a prime example of very little bedside manners and probably the least caring Doctor I have met yet, my trust in any kind of obgyn is tanking after my experience in his office.
I am a new patient with Dr. Oliva. He is very professional with great chairside mannerism. Clearly explained my diagnosis and treatment alternatives. Office receptionist was polite and expedited. I am very pleased. UPDATE: AUGUST 2025. 5 years later. If you're a patient that needs to be coddled or has no sense of accountability for your own health, then Dr. Olivia probably will not be a good fit for you. He does has a very serious demeanor.
