I had an amazing experience at the hospital. From the moment I arrived, the staff were kind, caring and professional. The nurses and doctors were incredibly attentive, supportive and always made sure I was comfortable and well looked after. The food was also amazing, which was such a pleasant surprise during my stay! Everything was well organised, and I felt genuinely cared for throughout my recovery. I'm ashamed to say probably one of the worst Private Hospitals in Melbourne.. people are forced to stay up to 3days or more even if they dont have anything that seriously wrong with them in order to rack up day charges against health insurance providers. The state of this hospital is hanging on by a thread! Honestly knock it down and rebuild.

Exemplary service from the moment I walked in. Every single staff member was fantastic, friendly and professional. I had to wait 2.5 hours to be picked up and I enjoyed every moment, watching all of the staff dealing with so many patients with such friendliness and care. All whilst they continued to check on me and asked and offered more food or drinks. Second fantastic experience at JFPH in 18 months - no wonder I had no fears this time!!!

I called reception at 2:45 pm asking for Dr Mariani contact but the receptionist appeared to be in a rush and ended the call before I had finished speaking. This was very disrespectful and unprofessional. Reception staff are responsible for assisting customers and should give callers the time and attention they deserve. If someone is too busy to properly handle a call, they should either ask the customer to hold or arrange to call them back rather than abruptly hanging up. Doctor Debjyoti Karmakar is a fantastic surgeon! He is professional, thorough and educates you. He is also reliable, punctual and follows everything through from start to finish so you don't feel rushed.
