He is professional, thorough, friendly, and wise. He took a lengthy, detailed history that included care provided by my other doctors and the need for follow up. I recommend him without reservation.
Been a patient of Dr Nicolas for a long time. He is simply excellent. He probably also saved my life after making sure I got immediate care when I was having chest pain. He even met me at the door of the Northwestern ER late in the day and helped me get checked in. What doctor does that? He does!
NEVER AGAIN! I had a 2:40 p.m. appointment, and was not seen for an hour later. I took a day off from work because they only had an appointment time when I was scheduled to work. The waiting room was EMPTY and I had to wait excessively. This was the icing on the cake for me! I'm DONE! I need a primary care doctor who CARES and can see you in a timely manner!
Dr. Nicolas has been my doctor for a few years now and he is by far the most thorough than any physician I have ever had and he takes time with me as the patient to explain things. He does have a busy schedule, like most physicians these days, so I make my appointments well in advance. Immediate Care, affiliated to Northwestern, works great for any minor emergencies. I would highly recommend Dr. John Nicolas.
