Dr. Wheeler saved my father Carl's life in April (I am his daughter posting this): my father had been through multiple emergency problems including Covid since January, and the most recent was Septic Arthritis that was misdiagnosed a week earlier by Abrazo Arrowhead ER on 4/12/22. As a Physical Therapist Assistant at Empower Physical Therapy, our patients absolutely love Dr. Wheeler and Robert Shupe, PA-C. The individualized time and expertise they provide is hard to find in today's medical world. From a professional side, the education and results I see from their visits, procedures, and/or surgical operations are top notch. Their patients end up back to doing what they love without pain prohibiting them. 110% recommend.
I came to Dr wheeler's office due to a trimalleolar fracture. I first met with his assistant dr shupe. He was great and gave me confidence in a time that I was very anxious about the near future. His office was able to quickly get me in for surgery within a few days. The staff was all amazing and so helpful. I am currently two days post surgery and starting to feel some relief already. Looking forward to my two week post-op appointment.
Can’t say enough good about Dr. Wheeler and his staff. I shattered my leg and was taken to Banner Baywood. Dr. Wheeler wasn’t on duty but was notified of the case and came in the next morning to perform the first of two surgeries. Almost 7 months in recovery and I’m walking on my own, bones healed beautifully and surgical sight is almost invisible. Great care and very pleasant.
