Dr. Stitt is the second worst dr I have had to experience. He was more worried about me naming my unborn child than he was the health of my child and myself. Blew off all of my concerns and told me that the next time I come back I need to have a name picked out. Little did I know, he completely ignored me having pre-eclampsia.
I've been searching for Dr Stitt for years after being told that he had retired. I finally found him and I couldn't be happier. He's one of the best OB-GYN's that I've ever had. He has a great personality for working with his patients and a wonderful bedside manner. He actually listens to his patients and their concerns which is hard to find now days. I'll be supper disappointed when he does retire.
I have been looking for Dr Stitt for 6 months now i have found him and i am one happy camper, he is by far the best OB GYN, I just love him and his bed side manners. I had to have a hysterectomy and i was so afraid so when i woke up he was sitting beside me holding my hand telling me everything was good and he prayed for me. I can't wait to see him again.
Absolutely, excellent doctor and caring person.
A doctor that can anticipate the concerns of an individual and adress them in a way that the average person can understand is the best kind of Doctor. I have no doubt in my mind that his personal/ family time suffers so that he can care for thousands of patients from all over the Kentucky/ Tennessee area. I have never seen a doctor more competent, caring, informative, and down to earth as Dr. Stitt. I will not see another doctor.

I have had OBGYN care in three different states. In two of the three, I experienced the care of more than one OBGYN physician. Upon moving to Kentucky, I stayed with GP's until I heard enough about an OBGYN to venture a visit. Dr. Stitt was THE ONE. Woman after woman, of all ages, gave not only excellent comments on medical care, procedures, and knowledge, but also mentioned his friendly, yet professional, bedside manner. Some 14 years later, Dr. Stitt still earns my vote of confidence.
