One of the hygienist here cleaned my teeth for 3 years and did not use the scraping tool under my gum line hardly at all. She told me that I took very good care of my teeth and I didn't need it. My next appointment I ended up getting an appointment with a different hygienist, and she said, my teeth were full of plaque underneath the gum line. I was highly upset about this.
